Nvidia is ready to make his debut for laptop GeForce 1050 GTX, the 2017 CES. The exact performance of mobile 1050 GTX is still unknown, but reportedly make up to 10% slower than the desktop version.
Consumer Electronic Show will be held on January 5-8, 2017 in Las Vegas. A new report from DigiTimes suggests that Nvidia will introduce the beginner level for laptop 1050 GTX in this trade show. For now, Nvidia 1060 GTX notebook GP is in great demand in China and South East Asia. 1050 GTX mobile debut is expected to increase more number of sales.
Asus, Gigabyte, MSI and Lenovo are planning to reveal their laptops latest gaming laptop at CES 2017. These will use GPU with Nvidia's new series processors Intel Kaby Lake.
On the details, Nvidia said it will use a slightly modified version of Pascal GP107 graphic processor within 1050 in order to achieve a slightly higher efficiency with a similar performance.
Chip developer has already stated that the performance difference between Pascal options for desktop and mobile will not be more than 10%. Mobile version of the GeForce 1050 GTX Ti is reported as fast as GTX 970M, while the price is similar to 960k GTX.
