Samsung Makes Successful Test of Prototype 5G

Samsung Electronics said it has successfully completed testing of the prototype 5G with Research Institute of Mobile, China (CMRI), marking a milestone in the cooperation between the two companies since Samsung became a member of Innovation Centre China Mobile 5G in June 2016 .

During the test the 5G, leading technologies like spatial module and FBMC (Filter Bank Multicarrier) have been proven to lower frequencies (3.5GHz), and tested passing performance, emissions output. System prototype 5G frequency super high Samsung and devices powered by the advanced technology of the beam formation, Samsung and "Research Institute China Mobile" have sought to verify together the performance of the technology wave mm and frequency characteristics, including mobility, the peak crossing, capacity planning multi-users and internal trasmisionis Wave mm, the loss of penetration, etc.

"After many years of research and development, Samsung has accumulated a wealth of technology and experience related to technology and product development 5G," said Dai Jun Zhang, Vice President and leader of R & D Institute of Samsung in China. "To accelerate the implementation of standardization and commercialization of 5G in China, we will continue to strengthen our efforts with the Chinese government, and also with operators in the future."

Since the late 2000s, Samsung has continuously invested in R & D for leading technologies 5G and since 2014, is focused on the commercialization of 5G technologies. Through his efforts, Samsung has achieved important moments in the development of 5G technology, including demonstration of the transition to a network multicell Wave mm and teknologjiq with Radio Frequency (RF) essential to minimize equipment and apparatus. Samsung also played a key role in contributing to the formation of 3GPP standards and striving
